CS01-Management Overview Accessibility Standards for Customer Service

Course #CS01 – 1 Hour Workshop in-house (max 30 people)

This workshop helps your management staff to move forward in implementing the new Customer Service Standards. Staff will learn the legislated requirements under the AODA, what their responsibilities are, how to comply, and next steps. You will learn the benefits and costs of compliance along with the risk of non-compliance.

The standards are easier to implement when staff clearly understand their roles and responsibilities.

CS02-Accessible Customer Service Training for Support Staff

Course #CS02 – 1 Hour Workshop in-house (max 40 people)

This workshop meets compliance requirement of the Accessible Customer Service Standards. It is designed for those staff with limited customer service interaction with persons with disabilities. It is designed for volunteers, contractors, and staff with little or no customer service interaction. The workshop includes an overview of the legislation and its requirements, disability terms and definitions, and reporting and training requirements. It does not include simulations or interactive exercises.

CS03-Accessibility Training for Customer Service Staff

Course #CS03 – 3 Hour Workshop in-house (max 15 people)

($50 per additional trainee to a maximum of 25)

This three-hour experiential workshop will meet compliance requirements of the new Accessible Customer Service Standards. It is ideal for front line staff and department heads. This in-house workshop includes an overview of the legislation and its requirements, disability terms and definitions, and reporting and training requirements. Various simulations and interactive learning experiences help your staff to identify and remove barriers in the workplace.

Your staff will have a greater sense and understanding of how to provide superior customer service to persons with disabilities. This workshop will change the way your staff provide service to your community!

e-Learning Course – Accessible Customer Service Training – 25 Minute duration

Sometimes it’s difficult to pull staff away from their jobs for any length of time. This 25 minute e-Learning course allows staff to train on line when convenient. It will also provide you with a tracked record of participant completion. E-Learning is set up with modules which cover all the training requirements of the Accessible Customer Service Standards. Your staff will have a greater sense and understanding of how to provide customer service to persons with disabilities. Fully customized to your specifications.

Implementing Customer Service & Creating Policies and Procedures – 1 Day Workshop (in house)

This interactive workshop is ideal for staff responsible for implementing the Customer Service Standards of your organization. Decision makers will be educated on legislative background, requirements, and effective and accessible customer service training. This workshop helps staff to begin the process of writing your policies and procedures related to the Accessibility Standards. AccessPATH Plus – Compliance plus Excellence Tool

The AccessPATH Plus is an easy-to-follow tool that takes you step-by-step through the process that will help your business achieve full compliance with the Accessible Customer Service Standards of the AODA. It features fill-in-the-blank templates as well as completed sample templates to guide you. Even if you have limited experience with managing projects, the program will inform and guide you all the way.
