People Access is a division of Excellence Canada (formerly the National Quality Institute), an independent, not-for-profit organization founded in 1992 by Industry Canada. Excellence Canada was selected by the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services to be an EnAbling Change Partner. Our mandate is to help raise awareness amongst the private and not-for-profit sectors about the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA). We work closely with the Accessibility Directorate of Ontario to help Ontarians with disabilities and the business community better understand each other’s needs, while ensuring a seamless implementation of the new AODA standards.
People Access is your resource centre providing accessibility training and consulting services to help both public and private sector organizations comply with the AODA legislation, while also helping these organizations benefit financially by doing so.
